Is there any ostensible reason that they tell us eligibility now and who has to SOAP on Monday? It’s not like they are working weekends. Why not tell people if they are SOAPing now so they can prepare over the weekend?

That would require school staff to work over the weekend which I'm quite certain most school staff are not willing to do and even if they were med schools would be loathe to pay overtime. And if there's no school support there's no good point in sending out Match status on a Friday so students can sit and stew and seriously entertain thoughts of self-harm without shoulders to lean on (not joking).
 
Potentially neurotic question: Just realized I used my school email for myeras/aamc and my personal email for NRMP. Is this going to screw me in any way? The aamc number on my nrmp matches what is on myeras.

Doesn't matter, except you'll need to check both inboxes.

There is no point to refreshing the site. You will get the news by email before it's available online.

Refreshing before 11 est is pointless just me being anxious lol however the email can be delayed a few minutes whereas online it’s available instantly.

I used to do coding in a previous life.
It makes sense for the script to be within the website. I assume that they’d already have it all loaded for the weekend, but it’s possible they change it for those who SOAP on Monday. Just something to see.

Yeah okay that's interesting. I don't know anything about this kind of stuff. It would be interesting if someone can confirm a true. I'm too anxious to even do it.

Someone pointed out that it may be from a question we answer on the app “have you ever participated in the SOAP”. It would be interesting to see if someone who had answered yes got a “true” there.

I saw on Reddit that someone who soaped three times got false. But who knows. We definitely need a true to show up to confirm.
 
I got false. feel relieved since everyone else is getting the same. Anyone get true?
 
False here too. What do you guys think the next document means? "Has applied to Dec?" which I also have false. What is Dec?

Also just wanted to say this is exactly like the NBME permit disappearing for Step 1 thing

You all worked so hard.

I think by the rules of Karma, everyone has to match their #1 to balance it out. 🙂
