I have participated in SOAP last year and got false (didn't match into a competitive specialty last year and did some soap but didn't take any offers because decided to extend graduation instead)

My liver is too stronk.
CDC just recommended cancelling events of more than 50 people to prevent the spread of coronavirus for the next 8 weeks. Graduation for most of us falls within that 8 weeks.
There's a lot of additional guidance in there though on how to keep school thing like that going. But I wouldn't be surprised if a lot of schools just canceled it or made it students only.
And lets face it.. how many of us go to graduation for ourselves?

Exactly. I’m a first gen and my parents and grandparents were so so excited.

Saw that a school in Japan did a virtual graduation commencement via Minecraft. I’m...not opposed.
My class has 260 and that doesnt include the MS and phd graduates... wouldnt work

my class has about 130 but graduation is MAy 22. It might still be a go for me.

Don’t grief my graduation bro!
Obviously not the same as graduation or match day, but our school does white coat at the end of first year. It was supposed to be May 1. We have 177. As of this afternoon it wasn't canceled yet, but they are going to make a decision in April. Kind of sucks knowing it's probably going to be canceled.
I'm too scared of delivery. I don't trust people to not go to work if they're sick, especially hourly workers who probably need the money.
If/when graduation gets cancelled I will probably try to find a video of one of these 10 Inspiring Graduation Speeches by Physicians - Healthcare Administration Degree Programs, watch it with my fam, recite the Hippocratic Oath, have them hood me with the regalia I probably won’t get reimbursed for, make a fancy dinner with them and drink a lot of wine.

I just realized as the spouse of non-traditional M4 - I am more nervous than him for the result of match day. My career and job has paid for medical school and our lifestyle and supported our family the past four years. The idea that I may have to leave my job behind and start over based on the match day result has become suddenly frightening. But I promised him that I was “all in” when he made a career change and I guess that means possibly sacrificing some of my own ... may karma be with all of us especially as many of us miss Match Day celebrations good luck!

Here I am, unable to sleep, constantly bouncing between thinking I matched my #1 to not matching at all!

i was legit “quarantined” aka “isolated” for like all of high school. i didnt drive or have a job so summers were awful. So here I am, doing what i did then...revisiting Sporcle, Neopets, and tv until the middle of the night.
My anxiety is also bad

I didn’t know Neopets was still a thing. That was my jam back in the day. I remember trying to buy rare items at the magic shop with 56k while everyone else had broadband lol.
Truth be told I never fully gave it up lol

Tossed and turned till about 3 AM, which is unusual for me. Actually had a very vivid dream about getting a good email. Waking up at five to realize it was just a dream was rough.

There is no reason for them to have titled it that way. Could have been “Website tools down until 12 PM”, “ERAS site closures schedule for 3/16”, or even “HA-ha made you look”.
