I am just curious, since Columbia specifically requires us to send three letters from SCIENCE PROFS WHO TAUGHT YOU, how do they know that those profs are from your classes?
How would they check? Do we need to turn in a seperate form that lists the names(or course number) of the classes with profs' names that we got letters from?
For an example, at my university where research experience is pretty easy to get, you can just volunteer to research at a prof's lab who TEACHES at school, but not necessarily who TAUGHT you.
How would columbia distinguish that? I am curious.
I am getting a letter from my PI, who teaches bio classes, but I did not take his class. Rather, I did my research through a class that gives you credits as a science elective course.
Does anyone know..?
