so i talked to someone at the deans' office and they said there's no way we can bring extra folks to the white coat ceremony because of space issues; did anyone else have luck? they said there aren't really tickets; its just limited to two people;
 
no name change for me....had this name ever since high school...back in '92. Anyhow, i'm gonna study for anatomy in july...at least try to. 😀 If anyone in the 626 wanna join me at starbucks give me a shout.

i dunno what i'll study or if i'll even really try. it was just something i'd thought I try out. Look over the anatomy book or something.

I'll be moving back to pasadena area just for a little while until i find a place around w covina, diamond bar, walnut...somewhere closer to school.

Really!? That sucks...I think it may have to do with the increase in class size (176-->200=48 More geust seats filled).
 
whatever happened to eric, aka slickness? i use to talk to him a lot on the DO forums but he disappeared. i heard he changed his name or something and i don't know what it is now. his posts use to crack the **** outta me =)

anyway good luck to you COMP'ers!!!! i have a weird affinity to that school...random and distant but i do.

No worries, but I am glad you cleared that up for me, because I was like "DAMN, look at this guy!" -- puttin' the SMACKDOWN on 'em before school even started 😱

So you landed extra tickets? 👍 From the sound of it, you could put those on eBay, sit back and let the bidding begin.

yeah they said there are no tickets...so if you bring extra people what are they gonna do? maybe they might make you sign in with the student they're their to see

While surfing the net, I actually came across that avatar and was thinking of using that one. Then I found mine and used that instead. That one was nice also. 👍
 
Yea, I aslo came across loads of AT Still and old KCOM pics too...I used those for my screensaver and desktop. 😀

btw the way do you know the origin of the word Avatar?...I was just curious so I looked it up and ?.It means the incarnation of a Hindu deity, especially Vishnu, in human or animal form or an embodiment as of a quality or concept. (The American Heritage Dictionary 4th ed.).

Hey, any DO, DO students or DO students-to-be in SoCal this Sat...come to ESPN-zone, meet in front at 3PM, spouses and signif. others are welcome to attend. Most of us are WesternU-COMP students with some KCOMers too! Go to the ESPN-ZONE thread and sign up!!!....so we can have an Idea of how many people will be showing up and get appropreate seating.

Thanks Sense.... I have a few more "Still" photos... but looking for more general medical ones too.
 
So AZCOM just called me to tell me I was accepted and wow what a blah reaction I had. I guess my spring Anatomy transcripts forced them to take me off that alternate list and offer me a seat. The lady says "So are you interested? Should we send you more information?" and I say "Oh yeah go ahead send me all the information you can" it's all so I can use that letter to wipe my ass when I take my first dump at COMP.

Have you ever tried to do that with crumpled up paper? Not pleasant at all. I suggest that you just use it as scratch paper for notes instead, perhaps in the setting of your first class at COMP.

Wanted to make sure you really thought this one through before you went ahead and ruptured vessels and/or caused major trauma to this already sensitive area.
