does anyone know how to get in touch with the centers? I'm registered to take the exam in Hamden, CT but can't seem to find a phone number to contact them -- I did google and have visited the prometric site. Thanks!

Actually, even if you do contact the center there, the manager there probably can't help you. They don't have the registration information housed in each center. If you have questions on registering for the exam, you need to email AAMC after having read the MCAT Essentials document.

What do you need to know?

Well, there seems to be some confusion about whether or not the test centers hand out paper/pencil or dry erase boards for the CBT test. It seems that it might actually depend on the center and I really wanted to find out.

That's tricky. They may have both. But that's a good question to survey the August 2006 CBT's and January 2007 CBT's.

TP testing centers don't just administer the MCAT, DAT, GRE, or GMAT, but also have a ton of other exams. I would hesitate to think that each test will have its own little rules about handing out paper only, dry-erase pages, or what. All I do know is that TP centers started going to dry-erase pages for the GMAT last year over scratch paper.
