I am still feeling down for Russia losing. So many hopes since the last European championship.. down the drain.

Question: are most of yall finding out on Dec 1st via email?
All the schools I interviewed at will be snail-mailing it (except for Houston). So, my countdown is technically Dec 1st + 5days (Turn on freak out mode after Saturday)

lol icedspice I wouldn't be freaking out too much if I were you, you've had 5 pre-dec 1st interviews!

I scheduled some of my interviews post Dec because of the encouragement I got from my dad. Haha, I called him up when I got the U.Minn interview and he said... Dont worrrrry!!! You will be fine. I KNOW you will get in somewhere!
-- so I think over the past month or so, I have been told constantly that I will be fine. And I have convinced myself I will be fine too. SO, my worry is if I am totally delusional. HEHE.

Here is another story (I am bored, bear with me)
So, I kicked butt on the DAT. I think part of the reason was because I wasn't stressed. Why? During the winter break (when I was studying for it) I dreamed that I had gotten an offer from Baylor --- so I had subconsciously convinced myself that I will get in. Even before I had taken the DATs AND the applications!
Ironic part is, I didn't get an interview from Baylor. LOL. SO, hoping I don't dream about more acceptances 🙂

It's true though, the more you stress about something, the worse it turns out. Whats your top choice?

I am actually going to wait till Dec 1st to decide... Weird, but the during the interview season, I thought Houston was my top choice (my last interview). So you would think I would be prepared. I was such a nervous wreeeck --- I dropped show polish on my skirt/pantyhose on the morning of the interview (literally 15 minutes before I was about to head out). YIKES, but then I came to find out that mommies have some kind of special powers in situations like these --- after a quick handwash and a dryer session, I was set!
And then I get to the interview (and Houston traffic is a nightmare --- almost got into an accident, YAY)
And then a bunch of us got stuck in an elevator.
So overall, a crazy day.

SO, I had to rethink my top choice. SO, no more hopes and dreams placed on one place. I will worry about it once THEY have decided 🙂
Although I didn't like the weather, I reeeeally liked Case -- the people there are off the chain 🙂 VERY sweet and friendly... But yes, the weather. If they could just relocate to... Texas? 😀 AND reduce their tuition, YESS!!!

Haha, enough about me. What are your top choices?

Well, that's what people thought in 2006. They barely made out of the round robin and beat Spain, France, and Brazil along the way. Who knows? Maybe Zizou will grace us once again with his presence.

For some reason, I am more excited for the second round interview offers, since I am still waitng to hear back from my top choices. Does anybody feel the same?

I feel like they don't have the strength in the team anymore 🙂 and their coach isn't contributing. Or maybe they were just saving the strength during the qualifiers 😀

Don't read Twilight.

Harry Potter I really liked. Yeah.. they're kind of long, but really enjoyable! Lord of the Rings is iffy. It really depends on the person because a lot of people think they drag on and on (which they do during some parts). I got through them, but... I don't think I would read them again. The movies are much better. =)

But of course, you should read time traveler's wife first. =) haha.

It's a poorly written novel in a series of crappy vampire-themed young adult romance books. A movie just came out and it most likely sucks too.

Honestly, I have never been one for recreational reading...but I saw the Twilight movie and for some reason started reading the book and COULD NOT put it down. I actually have a friend who would rag on me sooo bad for the Twilight thing, and she texted me last night and said "I am on page 337 of Twilight, and it is amazing. Don't tell anyone". I have yet to find someone who has given the books a chance and STILL didn't like it (though I will admit, it has been all women). 😛
 
Um, I know plenty of women who have read the books and disliked it, because of both the quality of writing and the quality of characters/plot.

But whatever.

omg, you have to see the New Moon. It is a fun experience to be in a theater with all these teenagers. Whenever Jacob take his shirt off, you see a happy cheer among these teenagers :laugh:

That's fine! I am just talking about people I know personally who have read the books...of course its not going to be the same for everyone. No reason to be so argumentative!

Sorry, I'm not trying to be argumentative! =( Just stating the other side. I think it's just become a sore subject for me since it seems like everyone I know has been trying to get me to fall in love with edward and jacob this past week.... lol. I think it's having the opposite effect.
