LOL omg i remember when they used to have pokemon "trade" card on back of lunch-ables? I forgot what they are called.. they have mini pepperoni pizzas and i used to eat them all the time in 5th grade XD. When my friends were coming up with interview questions to ask me.. they asked me.. the standard.. "if u can be any super hero.. who would u choose to be?".. i said.. "Do pokemons count as superheroes?"... they LOLed.. My favorite pokemon is Ditto.. the pink/purple bluhhh. She can morph into any of the other pokemon.. i thought that was super cool lol.

So I just spent 2 hrs shopping for really cheap make up.. any girls checked out e.l.f. makes up before? I just bought 25 dollar worth of stuff 😀!!

Ok 3 research papers waiting for me eeeeeeeeeeeeeeek.

Hi Everyone!

I found this thread when I Googled USC's School of Dentistry. I am a Master's Candidate at USC's film school and we have a similar thread (www.studentfilms.com). Believe me, this time last year, I felt the exact same way as you all! The anxiety of waiting for that acceptance letter was overwhelming!

My purpose of posting was to promote my apartment for rent beginning Dec. 1st. It is a 2 bedroom / 1 bath apartment literally a 10-minute walk from the School of Dentistry. It's incredibly convenient!

And right back off of the topic: Alright, I seriously need some new music to help this time pass. Anyone got any ideas for me...I mainly listen to rock (soft, alternative, grunge, punk, classic, hard, some metalcore, etc) but usually anything goes except for country, rap, and pop.

I've been thinking about the schools I want to attend and the ones I'm not too high on, but its all pointless when reality sets back in and I have no acceptances yet.

I don't think you've really given country a chance... give it a dabble 🙂

I'm trying not to "rank" the schools I have interviewed at until I have to choose between them (hopefully I will have a CHOICE!). Obviously, I have my top-choice and ones that I favor, but I don't want to get my hopes too high or low on any school.

I live in the midwest where some people go to prom on farm trackers and there are enough straight pipes to reach the sun. Trust me, I heard enough country to know I don't like it. 😎

I usually just go to billboard top 100 .. and youtube every song on the list.. until i find something i like lol. That's my way of keeping up with today's music 👍 since i dont drive around anymore.. and hardly listen to the radio

Just booked a trip to Europe for Dec 23! And going to be a bridesmaid on Dec 22.. i'm doing everything NOT school related.. and distracting myself from Dec 1!

I'm bored soo here are some suggestions, but I'm sure you've heard of a lot of them....30 Seconds to Mars "Kings and Queens", John Mayer "Assassin", anything by Carolina Liar, Taking Back Sunday "Sink Into Me", Jet "Seventeen" or "La Di Da", Blue October "Dirt Room"...that's all I can think of right now...hopefully you find something ya like! 😀
 
Can anyone recommend some shows to help kill some time? The next week is a good time to get into them haha. I heard Modern Family and Community are pretty funny. I guess ill try to watch them. Oh and I'm behind on House.

Good selection...I would definitely add True Blood, Family Guy, Scrubs, Futurama, and Weeds.

I love entourage. I hate how its so short and it goes by so fast. Dexter is awesome too. I was referring more to the newer shows that came out this fall, not the ones that have been around.

definitely modern family and 30rock. modern family is sometimes hit or miss, though. but usually pretty funny. easy enough to get to through hulu!

I started watching a new show called White Collar. Its on Hulu... I think the only reason I like it is because the girl Kelly (Tiffany Amber Thiesen) from Saved By the Bell is on that show. 😍 But Bored To Death is pretty awesome.

I have to admit that I have been watching this page since it began, and now that we have a bit over a week to go, its starting to get rough. At least schools out for the week and I can get a little snowboarding in to take up some time. Good luck to everyone, both on getting in and not dying of anxiety while waiting.

Im going to second Sunny and Curb especially, love those shows. I used to absolutely love the office but its starting to slip for me, writing is going downhill in that show. Parks and Rec is getting pretty funny though. I want to jump on the entourage badwagon too.
