Everyone read the post that someone left talking about blanks and what it meant last year. Its under one of the most recent threads discussing the blanks. Apparently last year people got in no problem with and without blanks on Dec. 1st. No worries everyone!

having read several of the recent posts in different threads, I believe we can conclude the following:

-blanks = NOTHING
-you will not get any calls from any schools TODAY
-wait until midnight

not to be mean, but this stuff is just all over the place!

and the way I understand it, we're not guaranteed to hear back even at midnight, correct?
or even the 1st for that matter.

I'll be waiting on NYU and Stony Brook!

exactly; a friend of mine who applied last year waited until the 7th to hear from one school! (that particular interview was on nov 19 according to his predents)

my emotions have never been this unstable!!! I'm happy that i'm finally going to know if I'm in or not. I'm a little worried whether or not I'll get in to any school. I've nervous/anxious at the same time because of what seems-to-be ENDLESS waiting. I have a HUGE exam tomorrow and I definitely cannot focus! AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! :scared:

and I was thinking about attempting to study for my final that is next week! i feel for you!!! 🙁

Do a lot of schools respond at midnight tonight? My AADSAS hasn't changed in a while including the schools I have had interviews at. Good luck everyone.
 
I'm nervous as well everyone 🙁 This stinks. I have a zoo practical AND a biochem test tomorrow and I really haven't started studying yet. The thing is I've been chilling all semester hoping for an acceptance... if it doesn't happen, I've wracked up a lotta B's lol. AHHH!!!

I asked this earlier, but got no reply. Does anyone have any words of wisdom about a status changing to "wait listed" today?? Should I be nervous, do you really think I am wait listed?

I think its safe to say you really are waitlisted, unfortunately. The Dec. 1st notification rule only applies to acceptances...many schools have already sent out rejections, and I just got my waitlist letter from Nova yesterday.
 
Alright let's get it to 1k hits. Everyone post what they're doing right now and then give a play by play of your waiting-to-hear from a schoolapaollza.

Right now I'm currently in microbiology watching my professor struggle to log onto the network so he can pull up his powerpoint slides... After this I'll be in micro lab till 630ish and then heading over to buffalo wild wings to have a drink with a fellow predent... then home for some studying/paper writing until about 10ish... then COD modern warfare 2 untill midnight then furiously checking aadsas... this will go on until about 2am... then sleepy time with an alarm set at 730 just in case they call early...

I tutor starting 4 PM to 9 PM Pacific Time. I don't know how it will turn out. I don't think it is possible for me to lecture anyone at this state. Well, at least I can check my e-mails and portals right after the session. You know 9 PM Pacific = Midnight eastern!!!
Just can't wait any longer!

Too bad they had to let go of some good professors due to budget cuts, who ended up being picked up by NYU this year I heard.
 
PS3 > Xbox 360.

Actually I'm not playing on my Xbox because I got banned from live for playing modern warfare 2 before it came out... I just couldn't wait, don't hate. So now I'm stuck playing on my PS3, but it's not bad at all. I love this game! Tactical nukes piss me off though.

Plus, I'm visiting parents with my crappy laptop. No Team Fortress 2, no consoles, nothing to distract me except bad flash games and youtube videos...
 
Does anyone know if the midnight update is according to east coast time? I know aadsas is out of chicago and they're an hour behind. Any ideas???

I think they update East coast time so us PST ppl may find out as soon as 9pm pacific. I think it's the least they can do considering I had to interview at every East coast school jet lagged to the max. lol
