I got the email at 10:04am. Later in the day, I got a phone call from a doctor/professor who teaches there congratulating me. He said nice things about me and my application. I felt great about myself for once!!

When I got the phone call from the doctor/alumn/professor who congratulated me on my Temple acceptance, he insisted I come pay him a visit at his practice anytime to say hello. He gave me his name and number and says he’s in his practice, but I have no idea where it is. I don’t even know if I should go or not haha. I was so happy with the acceptance I couldn’t register much of what he was saying lol!

I think that's my decision too although I know I should still be considering UCSF as a Californian... but Penn and Michigan stole my heart....
YES there is hope! I have friends who literally got in weeks before school started. Echoing what others said... maybe wait a week or two until after all their craziness has died down, and send them an email or call. Also keep in mind that those with multiple acceptances have to turn down some of them! Tons of spots are going to be opening up soon

Too personal to post lol but just some quick info.
Graduated high school with a 2.7. Graduating college magna cum laude. But many more acceptances to come I applied kind of late.
Yeah I'm from MI and received their scholarship so I feel like financially I should go there, but Penn was amazing! I also received a scholarship from Penn, but its still a lot more expensive...

That's so awesome congrats! No scholarships here, but San Francisco cost of living is scary enough to make me nervous. Anyways, I'm just gonna try to enjoy the weekend and live in this great moment before moving onto the next!

I'm in the same boat as you! Applied to two schools, interviewed at both- cold shoulder from one and waitlisted at the other. Don't lose hope, our time will come too. Think of December 1st as the start of acceptances, not the only day! Rooting for us all 🙂
