I used to like Pat Green as well, until he sold out.

I never really got into Pat Green - I saw him, believe it or not, at SMU in Dallas right before President Bush and VP Cheney took the stump before elections - must have been 2000. How'd Green sell out?

I actually saw him around that time in NOLA too. He was obviously a Bush fan.

He built this whole fan base on the notion that he was an outsider and would never get into the corporate Nashville music scene. I mean, he literally wrote songs about it.

Then around 2004, what did he do? Got into the corporate Nashville music scene and started making CMT videos. Karmas a mother though, since he did that his music sounds different. I couldn't even listen to it if I wanted to. I don't blame him for selling out. Money is nice and he has a family to support, but I lost my interest when he started sounding like Big and Rich and all the other goons out of Nashville.

REK on the other hand, continues to do what he has always done, making great albums.

The thing about the NBA is that the players are so freaking good. Also, I know three people pretty well who are in the NBA, so its hard not to pull for them.

On the other hand, I know Brad Womack (the most recent bachelor) extremely well, and I never watched a single episode of that nonsense.

I seriously think you are an internet celeb ... I'm proud to discuss in the same forums with you Tex!!! 👍👍
