To the people who have already submitted their amcas:

i know many have had problems with the academic year in the coursework section. My question is, should i leave spring semester 2001 as spring semester 2000? should I put winter Quarter 1999 as winter 98, even though it says on my transcript winter 1999? or should I override the bug and put it exactly as shown on my transcript?

You can't override it. AMCAS states in their insructions that it will convert the CALENDAR year for you into its ACADEMIC year. Just leave it.

moo is right--this isn't a bug in the application. it's SUPPOSED to convert the calendar year to the academic year so what it's doing with your semester years is actually correct. leave it be! 🙂
