To the people who have already submitted their amcas:

i know many have had problems with the academic year in the coursework section. My question is, should i leave spring semester 2001 as spring semester 2000? should I put winter Quarter 1999 as winter 98, even though it says on my transcript winter 1999? or should I override the bug and put it exactly as shown on my transcript?

    what did u guys do?

You can't override it. AMCAS states in their insructions that it will convert the CALENDAR year for you into its ACADEMIC year. Just leave it.

moo is right--this isn't a bug in the application. it's SUPPOSED to convert the calendar year to the academic year so what it's doing with your semester years is actually correct. leave it be! :)
