What is "Cal"? I'm confused....

Cal is the name used mostly for sports and by people who did not go to UC Berkeley to refer to the school academically as well. At Berkeley itself, the students usually call it Berkeley or UC Berkeley when refering to the school and call it Cal when refering to sports.

So...I've come to the realization that I might not be able to get into a Cali school. Which allo (out of state) schools show the most love for California applicants?

There's a bunch of Californians at Case and CCLCM.
