I understood it as people have started dating classmates and have broken up with their boyfriend/girlfriend that they had when starting school.

Hell, it ain't that bad. I dated a chick from class who I met at the beginning of the year. It's done now, but things are still cool between us. As long as you're not an ass about the whole thing, intraclass relationships can come and go without any awkwardness...

My fiance and I met during MSI....we will be getting married the week before graduation. Not all "classmate relationships" are flings. In fact she was the first woman I ever dated longer than 6 weeks....and probably the only one with an above avg IQ....let alone an avg IQ.
