Has anyone heard from Davis? I am wondering since I will be going there for upper division classes and would love to meet some of you who will be attending the med school...how bout you jlee??? And congrats on 2000!

awesome. i think you will enjoy the people and the environment at davis. before i visited the place, i had the common perception that it was a cowtown, but i was mistaken 😉.

its location is central to many places in northern california so its gonna be nice if you have a car.

unfortunately my file hasnt been reviewed yet like 90% of the people here on sdn waiting post interview, but im sure they will slowly get to us one by one.

the med students that go there are pretty cool and nice as well. the people i stayed with were awesome and some of the random students i met on my interview day were pretty chill.

Yeah, I live in Sacramento and have to travel to Davis often for pre med advising at my community college...I know alot of the med. staff as well since I worked in the hospital...

It is very exciting to actually be going there...Im just glad I don't have to smell poo all day long 🙂...I am kind of scared though because I will be the first in my family to go to such a big university,,,,hehe just need to keep my grades up...ahhh which reminds me Botany awaits my reading...man soooooooooooo boring Botany just want to go to sleep right now 😴

thats an awesome accomplishment...to be the first to a big univ like davis. congrats.

and botany is not that bad. 😉 plants are our friends. and the main reason why life continues to exist 😉

i'm waiting on davis too, and waiting, and waiting, and probably will be for a long time. i live in davis right now and it's definitely not a bad place to be. it's really not as lame and boring as people make it out to be.

congrats on getting in here! i think you will enjoy the undergrad experience. i did not go to ucd, but many of my family members did and all had a really good experience. it seems like there are lots of opportunities available and as long as you take initiative and seek them out like at any big school, you can do really well. good luck with your classes 🙂

Thanks!!! Sometimes I just get a little nervous though because I know how much I have to do well in order to get into a med school....I love the encouragment though 🙂

i did my post-bac premed stuff at university of arizona and that's when i joined sdn. but i'm not from there, just lived there for 2 years. california is home 🙂
