You know wat? i actually enjoyed reading the passages .They were real to me, like i cud relate. So i had ample time and even more left. I also had time remaining in Verbal and Biol.

As for the math and chemistry, I did not exactly run out of time, i just did the ones i knew, and even i was given 24 more hours, i still would not have known the rest. So i just bubbled in NONSENSE!

I ran out of time on math, with only a couple left I wanted to spend some time on. I still guessed/passed the ones that looked like it would be a big undertaking to get too so that's not good. The chem section did take a bit longer this time than when I took it in June and I finished but had no time to double check anything. I was actually surprised to almost run out of time for the biology section, ugh!

I ran out of time in chemistry i didn't do like a good last 8 problems
Is it me? or are they adding alot more ochem material in the test. O chem part stumped me bad.

yeah, i could have sworn reading that Ochem was only 20% of the exam a long time ago...I just looked it up now and it says 35%

I did not expect that much O-chem at all...I didnt finish some of it. As for the quantitative section, I really bombed this one. Really bombed it. I think I randomly guessed on about 12-15. I knew I wasnt going to do wonderful here, but I completely underestimated it. Its a shame too, because I thought I did pretty well on everything else. I hope I dont have to take this damn thing again in the fall.

I just about ran out of time on the math part. The proctor said 5 min left and I still had about 10-12 questions left.......I had to guess on alot of them.

I keep a stopwatch going during sections so I know to keep pace, and today our proctor only gave us 30 minutes for the chemistry section 😡

wow that 5 minutes missed is huge. I answered maybe 5-7 questions in my last 5 minutes of chemistry.

Yeah, I feel I didn't do too well myself. There were like 7 questions at least that I guessed on in the math section. There was some second semester OChem on the test (ketones and such). Now, what was up with all that Trig on the math section too and imaginary numbers. Now the question is, how much can you miss on each section and still get a high school. Because we know it is curved to a degree. Hopefully, this will be generous.

did anyone else think that that exam was the hardest ever ... i took it last year and it wasn't nearly as hard as it was this year (math and science section anyway) i think i did okay on my reading and english.. but never know.. i thoguth i did well last yaer but turns out i did better in chem and math than bio... but FOR SURE i know i screwed up chem and math thi year.. it was stinkin hard!!!

😡

This was my first time taking it. I didn't think it was extra hard but the fact that I didn't have enough time for any section I had to guess at least 10 answers for each section. I notice that hardly anybody ran out of time in all the sections, but only in one or two. Is it just me then? could it be because I am a first time taker? could it be beacause I am stupid? or because English is not my first language? How many of you guys were a first time taker?

Anyway, I feel like if I take it again in October I will do so much better because I am goping to prepare myself to work faster.

I took mine at UMCP. It was my first time taking it. For some reason, there was definitely more emphasis on trig. and organic 🙁

I guessed about 20 problems on the math section. Time is a killer.

I will keep you guys updated.

P.S. Don't just learn the basic of bio and chem. Read science magazines, too. 🙂

Chemistry really kicked my butt. 🙁 Too much Org Chem. I thought. I hope everyone did bad on this section, that way it will be waaaay curved 🙂 not to sound rude or anything....also

Math was a bit trickey since I have not had much experience with trig or calc.
other then that, I had like 12 minutes to just sit because I got done with the reading section, and I had about 5-6 mins left over after biology. Verbal was not as hard as I thought, but we will see in about 5 weeks.
