When it comes to the order of the ddx.. the order matters in real life.

How much does it matter on the CS? I guess if it matters a LOT for the first one you list, then fine. But what about the rest of the list? Also... isn't it true the ddx is based on your clinical assessment, so if you can back it up with your pertinent +/-, then it's okay?

I do understand that someone will read the note, but are they scoring it based on a checklist or will they also consider the thought process and clinical reasoning as well?

I felt i didnt really get to explain my thought process much cause you are basically just listing stuff.

for example if someone comes in with sore throat You could put strep 1 on your DDX and then list

+Sore throat
+erythema
+petechiae
+lymphadenopathy
-cough

thats about it....it really is a stupid test

So I'm going through first aid, sometimes my 1st and 2nd ddx is FA's 2nd and 1st ddx.

Not sure how much this really matters on the actual test..

Is there anyone who can comment on how good FA is in terms of correctness?

FA was written by practicing doctors, there is no reason to question their competence or correctness. That being said, you are not being graded on your correctness. They just want to know you know what you are doing.
