One semester done!!!!!!!! I'm giggling like a little school girl.

There's nothing to round out a semester like having a Heme Spal at the end of the day.

However, I have a RINGER!

I've patented a way to bite big lymph nodes and tell if it's CML, AML, CLL, ALL, etc. It's really the taste....

CML = Crawfish without the "boil" spices
AML = Crawfish with the spices
CLL = Crabs without the "boil" spices
ALL = Crabs with spices.....

I'm investigating the gator tail taste of ITP (spicy TTP), but don't know where to nibble.

See how easy this all is....

Now to practice writing SPAL notes:

by now I am assuming everyone is at least started their SPAL..........the heme test could have been better, could have been worse. You take the good with bad or better yet

The best part is from my perspective the worst is over.............2nd semester is a breeze compared to the hell of anatomy/immuno/etc. 😉
 
I'm laying on a floor in a hilton hotel in colorado springs. I've been on a bus/train for the last 16 hours, then ate entirely too much food and feel like crap. In the bed are dmak and lucky so I've just turned my headphones up to super high and pretend like I'm in a happy place. Go high altitude. 😛
 
So is it a Lucky sandwich, DMAK sandwich, or a Cremaster sandwich? We probably could start a poll and see which one people would prefer.

Congrats to all the first years that survived their first semester without losing a limb or killing a small innocent woodland creature. I was actually up to 12 by the end of my first year.....those chipmunks never saw it coming...... 😱 Colorado is a swell place. Big ups mon....big ups. Cremaster......16 hours back....get ready for some fun on a dark dark train.

Seriously though how was the wedding/trip guys/people I hate because I am at my in laws house while you are in colorado? Guess I'm dropping out of school though...it's not really my fault though. I bought an xbox game for my 2 week break and it turns out I'm getting the other three xbox games I really wanted for christmas. Between playing all 3 I just don't see how I'll have time for med school. Oh well....I had a good run. After 3 semesters of med school I have learned..................gimme a second to think here...............something about a philadelphia chromosome or something.......
....well actually I guess I've learned.......NOTHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can still see the fear in that chipmunks eyes as it looked down the gravel road to see a white car barreling down the road towards it.....it froze but tried to jump out of the way, but the serbian demon behind the wheel swerved hard into it with an evil glint in his eye. I heard the crunch as the wheels demolished its body until all that was left was some blood stained gravel and the echoes of that evil, chilling laughter.

Hey, do any of you know the direct address for the site where DMU students rate the apartments around the Des Moines area...?

Some first and second years were talking about it, but I couldn't seem to find it on the DMU website.

Do you guys have any idea what/ where it is? 😀
 
Who gets their wisdom teeth out on new years.............me..............stupid...............horrible timing, and I am never going to a dentist again, all they do is make my mouth hurt so much I can't eat. I'm a fat kid food is the most important thing in the world.

You're crazy! I hate the dentist, I'd rather break my toes than go to the dentist. But at least now you have the perfect reason to eat pudding all day long 🙂

pudding, soup, and ice cream.............which before hand seems like heaven, though they still make my mouth hurt so all that means is that good food that I use to like will always remind me of when I couldn't use my mouth🙁 But at least its 2005 and I'm now 2 years away from being done with school. It seems so close, yet so far away........................

I've never had a dentist wear a short skirt and use me for my non-existent money, well now that I Think about it.............they have used me for my non-existent money, maybe I should start requesting a short skirt.

I'm looking for a couple of contacts at DMU:

1 - The person who helps with housing. She spoke to us at my interview, but I seemed to have either not written down her contact info...or misplaced it!

2 - Who to contact regarding financial aid questions.

It was good too see you in class today, if I would have locked my keys in my car I would have given up hope and just started playing ps2 for the rest of my days...........

The Financial Aid secretary is Erin Kanatz. You can find her by sending an email through outlook online access, clicking "to" for the search window to pop up, and typing in "Karnatz." 271-1470 is the number up there. She checks her email in a flash, though..as do most DMU employees. Erin: [email protected]

As far as housing goes, Tricia Detje-Zeis runs that out of the Student Services Shop. Find her the same way, but 271-1457 works, too. She prefers email. Tricia: [email protected]

As a favor to me, (everyone) email Shannon Kalsem in Fitness dept (or call for her 271-1394). She made a comment that I didn't know who she was one time during an interview when I said I know everyone on campus, and this will be a funny thing for her to talk to me about. By the way, she's very very attractive, and just as married...keep it clean. Just ask her fitness center questions: [email protected]

(all research fees will be paid in screwdrivers, my current favorite drink..followed by bombay saphire and tonic...followed by grey goose and ANYTHING)

thats because there was a terrorist watching the school, and if the school started moving at a rate of less than fify five miles per hour we would have to watch a keanu reeves movie where he actually does not know kung fu. We decided it would just be better to blow the hell out of it. POINT BREAK RULES!!!!!!!!!
