I've been noticing that most dentists have perfect teeth (blindingly white + straight). I'm not a huge fan of this look. It looks a bit generic and fake. It even looks untrustworthy to me, like the guy on the right
I am every so slightly buck-toothed and my teeth are a little off-white (except my two front teeth lol).
I don't mind my teeth and I don't think anyone looks at me and thinks I have bad teeth, but they're certainly not like the teeth in dental ads.
Do patients (or even adcoms) expect this kind of smile from a dentist? Would you (or have you) bleach/straighten your teeth for your dental career?
