Do I need to withdraw from schools that have been silent?

I've been accepted to 1 MD school, waitlisted in another. Approx. 10 schools have been silent. Do I need to send an email to formally withdraw from all of these silent schools?

No. If they're giving you the silent treatment, it's perfectly fine for you to do the same.
