Do most dental schools in the states look more at later years?

Hey guys,

I was wondering if US dental schools place more emphasis on later years of your degree (3rd and 4th) or do they look at all years equally? Reason I'm asking is some Canadian schools do such as UofA, but all the dental sites I've visited do not say anything about it. Thanks.

In my experiences I have always heard that they look for an upward trend in grades. But if you stayed the same with good grades throughout that wouldn't be bad, you just don't want to start strong and than taper off right before being done, that makes you look lazy. good luck.
