Got the A at my top choice DO school yesterday!!! I suspect, based on my communications with the Director of Admissions, that I got bumped up the list very quickly. Tip - let them know how interested you are in that specific school and why!
I sent a LOI to mine so hopefully it helps[emoji1694]. Also, congrats!!!

For real! Like do I get a job? Take classes? Retake the MCAT? Knit sweaters? Idk what to do being here in limbo.
I’ve been studying for the MCAT as if I’m going to take it again soon but I don’t have a test scheduled.
I’ve got an application to an SMP waiting for review that I started before i got waitlisted.

Same! I’ve been actively studying for the MCAT but don’t have a date scheduled yet either. I’ve also been working on an online MBA application as a backup just in case too and starting to plan what I’ll need if I have to redo the AACOMAS app again[emoji2957][emoji854].
It’s overwhelming!! This area of limbo is a tough spot because I don’t really know what to do except just wait. Here’s hoping we all hear soon so we can start making some decisions and definite plans either way!

anyone on the Burrell waitlist?
Wishing everyone who is still on the waitlist the best! I made the mistake of constantly checking SDN/Reddit for waitlist movement every 2 hr or so. I realized it just made me more anxious knowing calls were being made but they weren't for me. So try not to get too hooked on here as it could also negatively affect you like it did me.
May today be the day we hear something!! But if not, try to do something fun/something you like over the weekend. (Because if you’re anything like me, your brain doesn’t just shut off because you know nothing happens on the weekends[emoji28])

Just spoke with a adcom at HCOM and they said it’s an unprecedented low for waitlist movement for them. Very hard to hear with them being mr top choice. Here’s to hoping June opens more seats!
I think that’s the worst part of the waitlist. Knowing you could hear back at any time, but also knowing there’s a chance you won’t hear back either[emoji854][emoji17].
