not exactly sure what your question means, but they do have the 60 min practice exams out there in the form of ek 1h, and ek verbal 101 (latest version).
to the OP: I understand what you mean. the old EK Verbal 101 passages book has 11 85 minute exams instead of 60 minute 40 question exams. i have the same book. But I never change it. i considered it once but thought it would be a waste because the difficulty of passages is random...if you chose the first 40 questions then they might be really easy (or hard) and not give you a balanced idea of what you are really scoring...
Stick to the 85 minutes....and in general if you are able to finish 5 passages in 45 minutes then you are in good shape...
Try to think of it positively...If you are more adept at giving an 85 minute exam then you cant do worse in an exam that has been shortened in duration and questions proportionally... the longer it is the worse you would do (assuming that your concentration levels diminish as time goes by)
I changed it to roughly 40 questions in about 60 minutes. If there were more or less questions for the last question in respect to the 40, I adjusted the time.
