I have an interview at a hospital to be a physical therapy aid and I was just wondering whether it would count toward clinical experience for applying to medical school. The job description makes me believe that I will have sufficient patient interaction.

Yes, it will count as clinical experience. Each client is a current patient and you will interact with them and be assisting them in a helpful way in the context of their musculoskeletal issues.
