Does MUA have California approval?

Does MUA have California approval? I want do my residency in FM and I am debating whether I can take a chance going to one of the big 4 or MUA knowing that I might not have a decent chance getting a residency in Family Medicine assuming I pass all my class and do OK on the USMLE board on my first attempt. My stats are : 3.18 cGPA, 3.3+ sGPA, Ton of clinical experience; I have not taken the MCAT but I am shooting for a 27+.

Not yet,but they are working on it. They are SABA's sister school and have a very similar curriculum. SABA is 50state and MUA has applied for CA. If approved its been common for CA to provide retroactive CA approval to students at the school.

My friend in 4th semester is expecting retroactive CA approval through MUA and this info is secondhand from her.

MUA does not currently have California approval.

You can do FM fairly easily out of the Caribbean. However going to the big 4 is definitely a better idea.
