Hello! I recently had the opportunity to interview for a job at a simulation and cadaver lab at a medical school and university hospital. To me, it sounds like an incredible learning experience, but I am wondering if I can count it as clinical experience when applying to medical school. If not, I am curious what I can count it as. At this job, I would be working closely with doctors and medical students. I would be setting up cadavers for medical students to use. I would also be setting up and running non-human simulators while medical students are getting simulated clinical experience. The doctor that introduced me to the opportunity said other pre-medical students have applied and gotten into medical school after working in this position. The doctor was just unsure at where on the application I can count it as. They said they assume clinical but were not sure as I would not necessarily be working with human patients. Thank you!
