hey guys, so I had my interview at Drew yesterday. It was cool and very relaxing. I got this info that some of you might be interested in. So far Drew has accepted 13 students, therefore there are still about 30 more acceptances to go. We should be hearing 6-8 weeks post interview, but according to the admissions office, the reason why it might take a little longer is that ALL accepted files have to go to UCLA Med for re-affirmation, therefore that can take a little longer. Maybe that's why Deuce007 and ucsb girl got their acceptances like 12 weeks later. They will be interviewing through May, so there's still a chance to get an interview. Good luck everyone!

I just wanted to say thanks so much for posting some new info on the school! Do you know if they only take 24 people up to May 15th and then take about another 24 off the wait list after May 15th, or do they take 48 straight out. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I interviewed at UCLA in Dec, and got waitlisted, and still haven't received an interview from Drew. This sucks. I live oh....just about 10 minutes away from the hospital. I am so tempted to go by and ask them what's up....but I'll try and show some restraint I guess. I'm losing hope. 🙁 Hope I get an interview soon....good luck to the rest of you! 😉

Yay! Dr. Don. I'm glad to hear that your interview went well. I hope you get in to your Drew this year. Well, lets hope that the longer we have to wait to hear anything from them, means that they are verifying our acceptances. Payback for the awful wait??

Hey guys- I interviewed at Drew- I think with uclamendoza and litgirl. Wasn't it awesome? I hope that we all get in. I can't believe they have only accepted 13- that totally gives me hope! This is my first choice school and I am keeping my fingers crossed for everybody. Good luck!

My interviewer was a cardiologist- he was really personable and understanding. This was the first time where I felt that the interviewer had actually looked over and payed attention to my file. Anyways, good luck uclamendoza and everybody!

Did you guys have a super cool and funny thrid year give your tour, who wanted to go into surgery. We had the nicest guy give our tour and he made me want to go to the school so much.
