Not sure if this is for the full-tuition ones or just in general. Curious about that too, I only got A email, no call. Not sure if there is a difference who gets call or email. For the record I got Rejection email --> generic WL email --> official WL email --> Acceptance email. Interviewed around early October.

How long after the rejection email did you get the generic wait list email?
 
Anyone know if theres an accepted students groupchat??
 
I was looking and there’s 90 ppl in the gc. Aren’t there only 60 seats available? Do 30 ppl usually drop bc what happens if they over enroll?
 
It could be that unaccepted students joined the gc and that’s why the number is so high.
Im still on WL hoping for an A.
 
Well I think there’s more students than 60 in the group chat because people who initially were accepted may have withdrawn for another school (and they’re still in the group chat)

I think if they over enrolled they might offer incentives to defer. It’s not restricted on who can join so it’s possible not everyone in there is an accepted student .
 
Does any one know how many people are committed to drew? I wondering if there going to be movement at all
 
There are still a handful of students on the groupme waiting to hear back from other schools. On April 30th, everyone who holds multiple acceptances will have to commit to one school. So you should expect some waitlist movement around that time.

We all got aid packages yesterday and we have to cte by the 30th so there should be some movement after then hopefully

Ok but what is the specific CTE date for drew? I don’t see it anywhere on their site

Admin says it’s April 30th. I think it was April 30th the year before too but I believe they got until May 2nd before their seats were in actual jeopardy. Not sure about this year.


Edit: just confirmed it’s April 30th 9pm on the dot. We don’t really get a chance or time to decide on other schools that one may be waitlisted at. So there might actually not be much movement for a while bc we have to cte right away or lose our seats.

Edit: for future folks ppl that didnt cte befire 9pm they rescinded acceptances at 9:01 pm lol

Right now there are about 80ish ppl accepted. And the class is 60. So there would need to be over 20 ppl that withdraw in order to pull from waitlist, just wanted to give yall a heads up. It might be a while

dang it’s a steep hill to climb. Is there still a good amount of acceptance applicants deciding this week?

Yeah definitely! A lot of ppl are still deciding or waiting on waitlist at the moment so there could def be movement but probably closer to mid-end of may
 
Does anyone know how many people are still on the waitlist?? Realistically we might just have 10 spots open at best due to over accepting already.

I think this whole over accepted thing is a little bit of speculation bc a large amount of those people could have declined and not left the group or are in the group prior to being accepted. April 30th is CDUs CTE so I anticipate some movement then. In the mean time I’d hold your head up and perhaps plan for reapplication I wish you all the best of luck
 
Yeah there was 90 ppl, now there are 79. It’s entirely possible that over 19 more students will drop, as many students are staying on waitlists for other schools, and probably would prefer the other school. Many of those ppl left the group chat these last 4 days. I expect more this coming week. There’s still hope!

So there is currently 79 people in the group chat ? we dont know if they're actually accepted or not
 
Has anyone been accepted since the CTE period ?

I do not know the exact number of people who have committed, but there are 65 people in the group chat! Not sure if the helps much
 
I don’t want to lose hope for CDU but time is ticking and no one’s pulling me of the wl :c

We did one but not everyone responded. 9 ppl said they weren’t gonna commit but I think they have left the gc already. I’m sure the class is full, but that doesn’t mean there won’t be more movement if people get into schools they prefer more than CDU. A few ppl are still waiting to hear from the UCs but most UC don’t start waitlist movement till late May-july. So there might be minimal movement, but I would still say prepare for another cycle/school of just in case.

All of us had to commit to enroll so honestly we’re all probably locked in. I’d say max 1-2 spots will open if that. We just got someone today and I expect they’ll be the last ):
