Hi,

I am not US citizen nor have studied in US.

I am currently working in an accounting firm as a CPA but willing to quit my job and become a dentist in US.

As I searched in the internet, I realized that I need some credits earned in US institutions.

Since it takes so much time to re-start as an undergraduate, I am considering post-bacc for pre-dentistry.

My questions are--
1. Am I eligible for post-bacc? I have no credits related to science courses and my bachelor degree is not from US or Canada. My native language is not English but I have high score in TOEFL.

2. If I were admitted in post-bacc and successfully completed the program, will I be eligible for dental schools?

3. Which shools are friendly to international students?

Please help.

You can take an informal postbacc for the required classes. Many colleges have extension schools which allow you to take classes without being formally enrolled for a degree- I would recommend this since you'll also be working. I'm not too sure if dental schools will require you to have a US bachelors degree...you might have to look that up.

There are many private institutions that take international students the only problem will be finding funding since you are not eligible for federal aid. You might need a US cosigner for private loans.
