The University of Colorado School of Medicine announces its summer offerings of the nationally renowned Emergency & Wilderness Medicine Pre-Med Program. These classes include Colorado and Costa Rica Locations!

Taught by U of CO School of Medicine faculty and physicians this two-week “mini-medical school” class provides a powerful hands-on introduction to emergency and wilderness medicine. Shadow attending physicians in the ER, do ambulance ride-alongs, participate in medical school labs (ultrasound, cardiac dissection, suturing, etc.) sit in on lectures from med school faculty, and hear from med school admissions officers. Spend nearly a week at camp up in the Rockies where you’ll hike, paddle, backpack, learn outdoor and survival skills, and continue skill development and scenario-based learning.

Earn CPR and Wilderness First Responder or Wilderness First Aid certifications.
