Hey premed2, my interview is scheduled on Oct 24. If we by chance have the same date, I'll see you in Atlanta.

Congrats on Emory. It's a fantastic school and very beautiful campus. I had a chance to see it in high school from the Coca Cola Scholarship. I went to high school in OC...if you're flying from LAX...i think you can get a direct flight to Atlanta. I'll ask a friend of mine how she's getting there. I think her interview is the end of this month if i am not mistaken, so you'll definitely see her.

Good luck on the interviews.

Round Trip tickets from LAX to Atlanta is not very expensive, about $180 with Delta Airline around the date of my interview, which is good.

I just like to point out that Delta is the only airline that stranded me at an airport. Since then I have liked southwest, jet blue, and other cheap airlines that have 99 dollars and less one way trips. $180 is not bad at all for that trip though.

I'm not bitter at delta.....

Well....maybe a little

I never flew with Delta...usually I just tried to go for Southwest, United, or American if possible. However, Southwest doesn't fly to Atlanta, and United and American are more expensive than Delta in this case

I fly mostly AA. One of their hubs is in StLouis so it makes it much easier. I flew Delta once and it was the flight from hell. So i am never gonna do it again.

For a lot of my med school interviews i am gonna be cashing in my airmiles. I have sooooo many of them. As soon as i came to college a friend of mine suggested that i get a mile rewards credit card and put everything on it. So now i have plenty of AA miles to pay for a few roundtrips 🙂.

AirTran is having a sale right now on certain flights between LAX and Atlanta ... $79 one-way!
