for the course requirements, am I meant to put in every single course that fulfills them? or just the minimum amount of courses to fulfill the requirement? and can I include my AP credit for english or would that look bad?
This honestly may be a call to their admissions office.

Just the minimum to fulfill the requirements. Their adcom has access to your full transcripts so they know (and expect) that you have taken more than the required courses. AP is fine unless stated otherwise.

AP is fine unless stated otherwise.
"Emory will accept some Advanced Placement (AP) and International Baccalaureate (IB) credit, as long as the credits appear on a college transcript. If you have AP and/or IB credit in any of the science areas, it is recommended that you complete an upper level course to maintain your knowledge in that area."

for listing the curricular plan in #1, do we just put down the course and the course name? or do we also describe what each one is about/why you chose it?

hey guys, I am literally using the same experiences for all four essays because it just so happens that I chose to spend my gap year and all my health-related experiences around medically underserved populations. Is it a red flag to repeat? Honestly don't know how I wouldn't

I would say no, I asked my advisor the same thing, and they said your experiences have shaped who you are, lean into that!

As long as you have different stories/perspectives for each question, I don't think it matters if they come from the same experience

I hear that this is a heavy research school. This is one of my late secondaries, is it still worth it to submit if my research isn't a strong part of my application?

I mean it depends if you're willing to spend the $100. It's a competitive school, so that's the (literal) cost. If you have some research background, I'd play it up in one of the secondaries a bit. They tend to like their own undergrads a bit too, so

Please describe any of your activities that have been in service to under-served communities.
By "any" do they mean list and describe each activity? Or go into depth about one specific activity with under-served communities?

Just a word of advice, Emory does not care about the "under-served" aspect like Mercer does. You can def include it, but it will not nearly carry the weight that it does at other schools.

Do you have a source? They changed their prompt this year to offer an opportunity to further explain service to underserved communities.

Guys, read the prompts carefully and pick out key words like you did in the CARS section of the MCAT.

Any means any. All would mean all, but they didn't say all.
If you have so many activities serving the underserved that you cannot describe them in 200 words, you will either make a list or be succinct.
If one was especially important, you could choose to use all your 200 words to talk about its impact on the community.
If you have absolutely none (as in "not any") then you will have to answer this question as not applicable.

Clearly with a separate question about this specific point in their secondary prompts this year, they are singling out this activity for evaluation.

5) If you have any updates or new information to report since you have submitted your AMCAS primary application, please briefly describe below (200 words)
should we leave this question blank if we are taking a gap year and already answered what we are doing in question 1 when not in school? I am confused what would go here...like could i make into a diversity essay of something that i didn't write about in my primary? or would new info only consist of like new activities or something

i used it to expand on an experience that i got more hours in since submitting my primary app, but i have heard of others using it more as an additional info space for whatever they wanted

If you are trying to force something here, it likely is best to leave it blank.

2) Briefly describe your health-related experiences. Be sure to include important experiences that are in your AMCAS application, as well as any recent experiences (200 words)
Hello! for multiple experiences and space restrictions, should we be listing this or going narrative form?

To those who got an II, did they email you or just call? I am abroad right now and don’t have access to my phone, but I do have email.

+1 II, complete 7/12

Yes. Good vibes. Short 1-on-1. So nerve racking waiting for your interview during the opening introductions and presentation. You will meet a lot of current med students and learn a lot.

I thought there was a group interview too. Is that cut this year?

Are they still ending out interview packets of information via actual mail? I heard they did so in past years.

They said the only thing they mail is acceptances. Everything else is email.

The day consists of an opening/introductions, info session, then a sequence of 1-on-1 interview, group interview, and chatting with med students (order is different for everyone). About 20 students per day.

They mail acceptances at the end of each month. An interview information packet is available on the portal if you get invited to interview.
