@Aprilthearab
They were arguing that I was suspicious for saying SAR requesting a tie not happen was modesty (I forget the exact word that was used) and that it triggered my rule of elect those who don't want to be elected. if you want to be super picky, they didn't use the exact words suspicious, but I don't think anyone is going to critique my assessment of what they meant by the words they did choose to use. They criticized my opinion of electing the people who don't want it as contradictory... Even though my very first (on topic) post in this whole thread was about that theory. They then also said that you never know what'll happen if there's a tie. Both people could end up dead. That's complete nonsense. That's the sort of stuff that a amateur wolf says to muddy the water. There is a 0% chance that that is actually a possibility without the mod spelling it out. And we have a nice and kind and touchy-feely mod. It's almost a guarantee that it wouldn't happen on a lynch vote either and it IS a guarantee it wouldn't happen on a mayor vote with ANYONE (Except JDH)
Then they repeatedly stated on multiple posts that maybe we should be going after people who aren't that active. Even a passing understanding of how this game works will let you know that that is a tremendously bad strategy for the village. The strategy begins to get better as you get near the end of the game, but it is horrendous at the start of the game. I spelled that out. You can go ahead and Google werewolf/mafia strategies. It'll be there as a big mistake to not make.
That's just my take on "their takes are ****" component. it makes me not feel bad getting rid of them even if the next part is wrong: I've been very clear that my only strategy complaint is that the way they handled the first few hours rubbed me much more as a wolf trying to stir up coversation and many different votes. It was just so perfectly classic of an example. with that said, I have said it now like five different times, it is day one. It could also just be a coincidence. The only reason why I feel comfortable with this move is because of the stuff I wrote above where this person clearly is bad at this game and so I was paying very close attention to see if it was worthwhile to get rid of them. And as soon as they did something that *could* be wolfy I let go of ant reservations.
since then, they have repeatedly quoted my post and completely ignored almost every point I made. They would mistate my argument. they would say that they read my posts and then completely ignore my post said. I would request them repeatedly to go back to a very specific post they made and they acted like they had no idea what post I was talking about despite the fact that I literally told them where to look. they continue to not address the fact that they made two different very bad arguments, and they accuse me of misrepresenting their argument when it is them who is continually evasive. The fact of the matter is that you all probably know her, and you probably all find me very abrasive and loud and aggressive. Except, collective dandelions, This works. Because this forces people outside of their comfort zone. and I'm not going to stop doing it just because it gets people to reflexively go "this person makes me uncomfortable and I want to get rid of him so we can all sing kumbaya." Take the time and read the thread and then tell me how you feel.
You might feel like I am being overly hard on them, and I agree that I am. But they are the person who I feel most comfortable with losing if they end up being a villager. What I know you won't feel, is you won't feel like I have been changing my arguments at any point, disingenuous at any point, or doing anything other than saying the exact same thing every single post and having shorty misrepresent my argument every single time she quotes it
