This makes me feel like I'm gonna have to role reveal

Maybe a good time to make an argument for a.m. or Finn. I say this as someone who is now very concerned that you may be a seer or something. But I'm not changing my vote because until I know that it's a *good* role, I happily lose someone who moves items or moves people or makes people talk in gifs if they are bad strategically.

I would probably make some compelling argument for a third person at this point. You have to know that if I go down every person who voted for me at any point is going to be examined with a fine toothed comb. You may be above suspicion if your role is good enough, but I'd still argue that suggesting going to me over trying to make a point for a third person is a pretty silly move. Just getting a whole bunch of other people to be the topic of conversation for their complete lack of strategy for picking me "just because". Also that rolls got to be really good because you continue to endorse sort of bad ideas.
I only went there because you've got the most votes on you so it's the best chance of self prez. I'd be willing to switch to a Finn yeet if others are.

With 18 minutes left in the day after she's back from a hiatus and hasn't gotten any heat all day...I'd prefer not unless you're like 90% sure
That's fair

Are there other yeet candidates or do I need to role reveal? Honestly getting uncomfortably close to yeet close

I still don’t really understand how you’ve arrived at that conclusion, and why you seem so firm about it on Day 1.
SAR just kind of confirmed what I’ve been tinfoiling and unless she caught onto my tinfoil and saw the ability to really **** with me I think I’m right.

Well that was a wild tinfoil ride. I hope everyone enjoyed that
Well I don’t even know what happened. I know you guys feared you stopped being cryptic and were obvious, and maybe it was to other involved parties, but I did not follow that whole thing.
I still have no idea what happened.
Same.

You say I'm bad strategically because of my reasoning and vote on you and nothing else unless you've changed your mind about my other things.

I'm not loving any of the front runners right now. I just don't think DocE is wolfing. I'm ambivalent on April, but don't have strong wolf feels on her.
Exactly my thoughts. DocE doesn't give off wolfy energy (nor does sunshine or shorty, for that matter). I haven't seen any reason to vote April today other than maybe her persistence on DocE. So I'm gonna vote on someone I have feels (albeit minor) for.

vote alissa

That's the problem with tinfoil - makes sense to the people in the hats. But when they start telling others about it, the crazy becomes evident. I would really like some more info about this to decide if it's really a thing we should be seriously considering, or if y'all just like shiny hats.

I want to clarify about my second to last sentence. I don't mean that I know the best strategic move. I phrased it oddly. I mean more that their move is very clearly a statistical loser in a game where every single move has some risk and chance attached to it. So it's less so that they are not choosing to make the statistically best move, it's that they're making a clearly statistically bad move.

I know we are allowed to edit, but I still feel really awkward editing anything that is more than a few seconds old
okay well this post annoys me less, so at least there's that.

Also I just wanna say that one of the things that really pinged me in the earlier pages I was reading was samacs fishing for the thief. It bugged me a lot. Her reasoning post on why she did it also didn't really feel like a good enough reason, so she's high on my sus list. But won't be voting there today since she's pm.

Also no offense to samac (pretty soon she's gonna hate me), but I read it as new-ish player trying hard, not sus.

So you think talking about mechanics that have the potential to not be helpful (and therefore become a distraction) shouldn't be called out?

Of course not. Unless it’s taking over thread and/or replacing wolf hunting it can provide valuable information for later. Shutting it down suppresses potentially important info, and I’m not talking about the mechanics being speculated about.

Vote april

will change if needed and post reason want to give time for defense
Ugh.

Role reveal: I'm Robin Hood, a village commoner who can steal and send items. Sorry to disappoint with my "bad" role DocE. Steal from the rich and redistribute to the poor. And before SAR or Samac jump on me, no I did not steal the teapot, and I don't know who did. I wasn't capable of doing any night actions N0 and I did not have any night actions done onto me. I believe the tinfoil is correct that the other thief is a wolf who is the Sheriff and likely is a person within our location. One village thief and one wolf thief.

Probs gonna get yeeted anyway at this rate.

It boils down to:

1. The Sheriff of Nottingham stole my teapot
2. Samac has reasons to believe that the person who stole my teapot is in the North group

Waffling like mad here on voting april but I don’t think it’s a good idea to yeet DocE. April’s early posts seemed off to some people, and I haven’t reread them myself to see if I agree, but I know nervous early posting was what got both of us under correct suspicion in basics. If there’s good mechanical reason to think there’s a wolf between her, am, and finn, then I’m okay voting her

Well, it was only shorty saying it was "weird" not that they couldn't talk about it. Even I didn't say anything even though that stuff makes me very uncomfortable.

I should caveat this that it may not be a wolf slot, but it's definitely an anti-village slot
Idk if it's because I have a headache, but I feel like every single thing I've read in the last 4 pages has just made me increasingly more confused.
I guess I don't understand why a proposed ability(?) thief or redirector or whatever is happening here is automatically anti-village.

We’re your usage of shoot and aiming trying to confirm this for me?

I buy April’s reveal in light of the others knowing it was sheriff of Nottingham. I don’t like an April or DocE yeet right now and will vote for the third place if someone has a tally and it’s not someone I’m strongly village feeling

Ooo that’s an interesting claim given the discussion going on. On the one hand, a natural fakeclaim if she were the sherriff, but it could make sense for the game to have a sherriff and Robin Hood counterparts. I’m leaning towards fakeclaim.

I'm honestly trying to work with you here, but I don't think I fully understood what you just wrote.
The only thing you've said I'm bad at strategy is because I'm yeeting you. I don't know why you're yeeting me if you don't have a problem with the rest of my gameplay.

Also forget all y’all who say I’m bad at tinfoiling. I’m wearing that hat proudly. :heckyeah:

Oh my god vis you're killing me

Literally

You strongly believe it's a fakeclaim?

Fair, guess I was taking “calling out” to the extreme. I don’t mind people questioning it. Using the general idea of mechanics talk seems like a weak reason for any suspicion unless you’re the one talking mechanics.

So put the vote down and change it if you need to. Why wait?

I never understand the whole "I'm withholding my vote" thing. It always looks like someone fang'd being hesitant to get too committal and instead looking for an easy place to put a vote.

It also takes away the opportunity to investigate why someone changes their vote if they sit around not doing anything until the very end.

wolf slip?

(this is meant to be feigned, yes?)

No, not a slip. Read what I said.

I asked her why she wouldn't put down a vote, and then said that not being willing to place votes always looks "like someone fang'd" (i.e. wolfy) to me because etc etc.

Not sure how you get wolf slip out of that...... did you truly just misunderstand what I said, or are you trying to dredge shade?

Listen, I'm here still reading. if there is a bandwagon that lets us both live I'm happy to move. But my argument against you has always been about you as the player, not your role. And this role is not necessary to save. Obviously I'm going to try to if something else makes sense in the next 6 minutes. I'm refreshing this rapidly and reading.

With that said, you could be the sheriff of Nottingham. You really could. Lots of wolves have cover titles. I'm not doing this to f*** you over. I'm just saying it out loud because it's absolutely true.

There are 2 people in 3rd at least as of my tally 2 pages ago and I feel like both are village.

If DocE is village, his play thus far has been anti-village for reasons I've said before.
