This is overstating, I explicitly said there was an advantage to DocE having it if he is village. He's one of the better villagers and user of a PR.

One reason I'm not pushing myself or some others for mayor is because they are often NK'ed early if village. DocE being essentially a policy yeet has the advantage of being naturally sketchy enough the wolves may not kill him. Or if they do, we likely weren't taking him to endgame anyway.

There's a ton of upside to DocE being PM, unless he's a wolf, but even then I argue this may actually harm him if wolf.

I mean I’d prefer me if I’m being honest since I know I’m village but if it’s going to be someone I know nothing about who people talk about how sketchy he is vs someone I’ve played with and has modded games I’ve been in I’m going with the devil I know.

I think I missed where she said she felt there was resistance, though tbh with how I've been skimming today I couldn't say whether I agree or disagree with that assessment.

As to the latter part though... maybe it's just me or maybe I haven't played recently enough, but I feel like most mayor votes are usually somewhat random and it's not that interesting to me that it's not because of anything she said. Again, I'm biased here but I think "not DocE" is a perfectly reasonable basis for a vote and it doesn't bother me at all.

skimming to catch up before I have the speed game, but I'm not really a fan of the DocE thing going on, I'd feel more comfortable having someone I've been able to play with (or have read their games) in that position. I actually don't mind any of the other votes, I mean I'm personally not a fan of the self voting, but I can see why sunny and barks would vote for Ms P, I thought she played really well in bioshock, and was active enough to be considered for the role. Does she have the posting quantity of AM, Lawpy or Cray? no, but I think she posts good quality content and reads.

He still has tons of experience. I was in retirement 2 years and still have more games under my belt than a lot of the noobs.

I'll admit to be feeling rusty playing again at first, but it comes back fast and it's more a hindrance for wolfing than villaging ime. I expect DocE to catch on fast like riding a bicycle. I still ID'd wolves all right coming back.

It remains to be seen how the long pause will affect DocE, but I think he'll be fine, like Lupin and others.

Yup I think he’ll be just fine. I had a multi year hiatus and though terminology changed a bit and it’s a harder reading completely new players, it’s also just like riding a bike. But I don’t think it’s necessarily a hindrance to be wolfing rustily bc I feel like people give you a bit of a pass when you first come back. So I wouldn’t get complacent about him, especially on the small chance he’s got a nonseerable role or something.

I took the Pm with mayo last game from 2 pages with him and kata to 11 from when I joined. Halfway through.
