Okay so I’m all for mechanics solving, but this is getting a bit extreme even for me. I don’t think I’ve read a single post all day that hasn’t been about mechanics.

Just looked sunny raged in apocolypse. Guess it’s NAI.

I went back and looked at Apocalypse too just because I wanted to see the comparison, and I don't agree that she really raged compared to what I've seen in other games. I saw a few times where it was clear she was irritated (and one instance of the shouty caps), but even when she was on the chopping block, I didn't get the same kind of sometimes-frantic frustration that I've seen from her as a villager, and that I've seen in this game.

I disagree with some of her reads and reasonings on them, but tonally, I'm leaning more villagey on her after looking at that game.

At least from a previous conversation I had with Pippy two years ago, she doesn't like putting easy-to-detect conversion hints in writeups. So if something were to happen, it'd probably be more subtle than that.

Also, it's like ridiculously early for a conversion.

Been wondering about this. SAR makes sense with it being clear she was royal from not-winning the election, then the writeup hinting the queen was the one who broke the initial election. TE and vmh I don’t see a clear reason for. With an alleged 4th kill attempt on genny I think it’s likely at least one isn’t wolf-aligned.

Disagree with this interpretation.

Does this sound like 7 anti-village parties to anyone else? Or just 1 in each sentence being described with different pejoratives?

Was there something I missed that made you specifically think the thief was from Robin Hood? I just remember you saying that Robin Hood was your first thought for a notable English thief, which makes sense, but I don’t know how that transfers to the Sheriff based on the thief apparently being wolf-aligned (and I agree it isn’t village, since the writeup on vmh’s death seems to hint that there is an antivillage thief). Couldn’t it be some other fat, furry, antivillage thief?

I had a write up hint and at first I thought meant nothing but once Sar posted about the teapot my wheels got turning and being in robinhood’s land and I started googling about where Robinhood was from and all that jazz. Turned out it was the north. I was pretty sure at that point that characters from Robinhood were around me. I tried to lure Robinhood out on thread, but Sar had realized too the universe around us and that it was fat, furry, and don’t leave off the tiny hat. It’s an important detail.
I’ll back off being so sure that the Sheriff of Nottingham is in the north if everyone else thinks I’m a blubbering idiot, but I will not back off him being in the game and most likely wolfy.

What’s your read on Dubz?

These quotes are pinging me a little bit, like they could be an act.

Also, I understand the reasoning for Dubz voting for April. It makes sense logically. But it was also, in retrospect, a potentially easy thing to jump on as a wolf and make excuses for later. Considering Dubz’s lack of reevaluation of that position as the day went on, I have suspicions.

I know this was directed at AM, but just wanted to say I had some similar thoughts about dubz, mostly pertaining to the april yeet and the fact that it seemed like she seemed like she was hedging about getting off but never actually did.

Also her tagging me this morning asking to hear more was just triggering for me because of april in emojis, but I'm trying not to let that cloud my judgement.

I think I'm more interested in people who jumped on April later though. Vissy in particular who threw down her vote 10 minutes before close and acting like she was giving April enough time to defend. Then it seemed like she was trying to defend the april votes by saying this in response to me calling out the late april votes when she seemed like she was villaging for most of the later cycle

Early reads are more reliable imo. In my limited experience wolves tend to work really hard to clean up their act once there’s heat on them for their early posts.

Even though my issue was with all the votes on April that came almost towards the end of the cycle. My other issue with Vissy has been that most of her posts seem to be focusing mechanics, write-ups, or theories and not so much wolf hunting

Bread is also somebody who is on my radar. Since the game started he keeps coming onto thread saying he's catching up, but never posts content. When he did post some stuff yesterday it was stuff it was comments on things posted days before and wasn't really relevant to the current discussion.

Then he placed a vote for April, admitting he wasn't caught up, and that he was just following samac, so that weirded me out.

It's only a rojo if it was meant for pack chat. Sometimes people use it for other types of similar slips, but in that case it should have some explaining details (like when I rojoed on thread Something meant for dead chat)

makes me think that if she was in a wolf pack she might have gotten a packmate to do it instead.

This doesn't make sense to me really.

People are starting to get a lil ridic on their theories of how a lot of people use pack chat. It's way safer to nominate yourself than implicate a fellow wolf like that, especially since people seem almost 50/50 on self nominationa being turn off or not.

Of these I'm least comfy with bread and vis, having interacted with cray in real time a bit in the wee hours of the morning I feel better about her. DocE is still DocE and I'll worry about him around day 5 if he hasn't caught a wolf or two yet lol MsP feels more in her village range even though I don't like the tactic from earlier. Not worried about samac.

I think its pretty interesting how quickly the April wagon builds looking at the tallies, and while I know there were a lot of tinfoils getting thrown around about robin hood, its just weird. MsP switched from an AM vote, Samac had hers on Z earlier and pulled it off, DocE self prezzed by moving his vote off me, and Vissy and Bread cast their votes for the first time on April, with vissy's being like 10 minutes before closing. Also worth noting that 2 of the 3 people that voted for AM are now dead

But you say her tone sounds different every single game. Why would this time make her a wolf vs it just being NAI?

The real issue with any change in tone, is what is motivating it and what is the player doing. I observed some potentially wolfy things that made me way more concerned this time.
