I put other reasons in there besides them being low posters and I'd hardly put vis and sunny in the same bracket as cyndia and bread (which are the two she pointed out). Yesterday her plea was that we yeet someone who wasn't really contributing instead of her.

Like I said easy misyeet bait when it's so close to the end of the cycle.

I already pointed out sunny was an exception. Bread is on your list too so I don't think you get a one up on her there. Stagg is in that same category.

Now that I think about it though, interesting stagg wasn't one of the low-poster yeet options she proposed.

You haven't addressed the fact that you never even interacted with her though. Before or after the vote, as far as I can tell, though the search function isn't perfect in that regard.

Mkg's defense on thread didn't make me feel better about her being village. I feel bad about her irl stuff, but irl stuff is not AI. Also she went from saying "maybe it's best for village if I flip earlier" to then pushing hard to get bread yeeted instead when it was actually looking like she was going to be yeeted. Her reads from yesterday were on people who have barely been posting and yeah I think it's important to pressure those people and sure quiet people can be wolfing, but they're easy bait for misyeet by wolves who are under fire.

Her big ISO yesterday was on two players that she's not even wolf reading.

I just want to respond to these two points. My point was that less time on thread = lower quality posts. I'll be the first to admit things got a bit emotional yesterday (sorry AM) because of things going on, but I really, truly feel that I have had significantly less time to invest in this game compared to my first two games, and that that is what is causing this change in post quality/contributions.

I ISO'ed Alissa, and ended up partially ISO'ing AM yesterday for 3 reasons. 1) because I struggle to read Alissa due to mistaking her with Alley, 2) because AM ASKED ME HOW I FELT ABOUT HER and 3) right now I have too many people still in my neutrals, and I needed to do an ISO so I could move her one way or the other. I dont see how finishing an ISO and feeling better about Alissa is a bad thing? like I didnt realize ISOs were only supposed to be used on people we already think are wolfy? And the ISO actually knocked AM back into neutral from village lean? so I really dont get your second point.

That is naked imo, and you didn't engage with mkg at all either before or after which is probably the oddest part about it for me.

I don't recall right now who her second ISO was on but the first was alissa and she ended up moving her towards village. I thought prior to that she was reading her wolf or maybe neutral? Would have to look back.

I moved because her tone felt village to me. As I said at the time, maybe I'm a sucker. I don't consider the PM thing out of character given the conversation we had in dead chat last game. In any case that part isn't really coming into play for me because I don't think the role she gave should be enough to sway anybunny either way (and yes, samac did tell me what she claimed). It's believable but nothing that couldn't be a cover.

I had her in neutrals, and felt better about her afterwards.

I updated my POE this morning after catching up on last nights chatter, the thing that stood out to me was Stagg's issues with Alissa's POE and the back and forth with AM was off

Her reads from yesterday were on people who have barely been posting and yeah I think it's important to pressure those people and sure quiet people can be wolfing, but they're easy bait for misyeet by wolves who are under fire.

Going back to this, my point about Bread is that he's been here-he isnt MIA, but he has only sheeped other peoples thoughts. If he came in intermittently, but asked some Qs or contributed original thoughts I'd kick the can down the road but I havent seen that from him AT ALL.

just a heads up. There is an item out there that lets people do their nightly activities without being seen/identified. The reason I defended visc was because we were trying to keep it out of wolf hands together. Didn't do either of us any good, but might be really bad if wolves had it so we were trying to prevent it from hitting the open market. Its floating out there somewhere now.

What’s changed? All we’ve gotten were a few extra posts and an appeal to emotion that too many people bought into imo.

I’ll update with more when I’ve got time after work. There’s a lot of things she did in her defense I intend to highlight.

I also think, assuming I’m right about MKG. There were multiply like rabbits wolves on Vis’s wagon, trying to save their little wolf pal.

I think sunshine for example is a good candidate for this. People have commented on how she’s off this game. She is. Where’s her flipping reads list? EVERY game I’ve played with her, she’s been village and has posted her spreadsheet for us to look at and updates it frequently. Instead this game she gives a suspicious excuse for not having it and another appeal to emotion to get people off her case.

I like it when people are posting reads, because the wolves sometimes mess up and forget a fellow wolf, come up with lists that make no sense, etc.

But just because someone doesn’t have a reads list doesn’t make them instantly wolfy. I definitely have a harder time reading people as a villager (duh, as a wolf you just have to look out for PRs), and then it’s harder for me to make reads lists.

I loved making fake reads last game when I was a wolf. All I had to do was follow who the sketchy people seemed to be, and then make sure I sprinkled in some sus of my fellow wolves. Now it’s so hard actually deciding how I’m reading people, because everyone seems to be very village-like right now.

I am very pro-mechanics. I was saying in the bioshock dead chat that analyzing the write ups is important, because the mods leave clues for us in them. We might be totally off base with speculating, but it’s better to catch a clue (like what shorty did with the cigs last game) than to completely ignore write ups and night actions and not talk about them on thread. Heck, it was mechanics talk last game that got me outed as a wolf and yeeted. I think mechanics talk is pro-village, especially since it clearly helps us catch wolves. We just need to avoid going into the FDA guy tinfoil territory and forgetting that VCA and interactions are important too

You and Cray both follow that logic, and I agree that wolves 100% will kill people who are being universally “village-read.” I know that the wolves last game definitely tried to kill some people who were village-read, but we also tried to kill some people just for fun to create confusion, and we killed the outed PRs asap. So you never really know why exactly someone was killed, and it’s all very WIFOM in my opinion.

But people who are playing strongly pro-village (last game it was like Dina, Shorty, the FDA guy, etc), are going to be night targets no matter what. The wolves are going to target the people who are doing significant wolf-hunting and contributing to game-solving, even if they aren’t spelled out on a nice “village” list by everyone playing. I’m not totally sure that listing someone as a village read on a reads list really paints that large of a target on their back.

I’m making note that I’m really not a fan of the Cray-DocE interactions. I’ve never played with DocE before, but him basically putting words in Cray’s mouth and them being so buddy-buddy is giving me some bad vibes. I think Cray is too good of a wolf to be that obvious, but I also REALLY don’t like DocE’s interactions with Shorty either.

Honestly, not a fan. I don’t want to go as far as AM and claim that Cray is sheeping DocE, but I was hoping she had an original reason for sussing Shorty instead of just agreeing with DocE. But she’s also post-restricted so I’m giving her the benefit of the doubt and hoping that she can clarify her reasoning for her vote tomorrow

Also, I know somebody postulated earlier that Cray could be faking this post restriction, but I highly, highly doubt that just based on how frustrated she was about being silenced during the last game and how much she likes to post her thoughts. She talked a lot in wolf chat and was struggling to not like anything on thread when she was silenced during Bioshock. It appears that she can like/react to posts right now, but I don't think she would necessarily choose to fake this. That seems unnecessary, especially this early in the game. I feel like it is much more likely an ability or item causing this.

Yes! It was the people who thought she randomly got post restricted in the middle of the day PLUS I saw DubZ's comment (and didn't see what she was responding to) that made me think that. So I was a bit confused on why it was brought up. Regardless, I doubt it was faked because that just doesn't seem like something Cray would do, as I explained above.

Just chiming in to say that I've played just a few more games than TME, and we were noobs together, but I have also never heard of that wolf category-guessing mechanic that you described earlier. So I'm not sure she would truly know that since she's only played a few games, and has played even less games than me. I'm honestly a bit confused on why the wolves guessing roles in the game apparently rewards them with extra kills, but vmh is clearly more experienced so she (and other vets) would know if that role exists.

I'm still not sure how I feel about her, even after getting caught up over the past 22 pages. She feels the exact same as last game when she was wolfing, but I know her busy schedule is NAI. I feel like she is slightly more invested in the thread during this game though. Her posts tonight made me feel a bit better, though not enough to move her out of the POE.

Same here. I know that I haven't quite proven my village-ness to everyone, but I thought the shade she threw was odd.


I just spent the past like 3.5 hours catching up on the previous 22 pages. It was a wild ride. Currently feeling very conflicted because most of my village reads died, but right now the people I am most sus of are DocE, Bread, Vis, Sporty, Stagg, Z, AM, Finn, and Cyndia. I still feel pretty unsure about LIS, Alissa, Capri, Barks, and Dina. I feel okay about Sunny, DubZ, Samac, Bob, MsP, genny, Cray, and shorty (now Mayo).


I'm drinking the koolaid that Samac is pouring. Based on knowledge of my own role, I do think that location is important to each character. I'm not quite ready to go fully gun-ho on AM and Finn, especially since it's not certain that the sheriff is in the North, but I will be keeping an eye on both of them. I do think that the write-up flairs heavily hint to the sheriff being involved in the game, and I definitely see the reasoning why he would be a character that is placed in the north group.

Sorry I was busy the past few days!! I had to dedicate some serious time to get caught up today.

honestly perfect timing, I was going to say I'd like to see her thoughts/reads, as she has been active and involved in a bunch of different topics on thread, and here they are. I think they are pretty understandable as D2 reads, theyre not that much different from my own

Reasons for each wolfread:

DocE: Maybe just a different type of WW player, but I really do not like his posts and how he decides to yeet people. I'm willing to back off since he is apparently a policy mid-game yeet, but he just screams sketch to me, and that's why he got my vote yesterday. I have a theory with the PM election, but I can't prove it so it'll remain a tinfoil for now.

Bread: very quiet, has not produced a lot of content to go through. I know he's been busy recently so he is another person to watch.

Vis: Her yeet is gaining some traction, which makes me a bit wary, but several of her posts have pinged me. The one that bothered me the most was her vote for April with only 10 mins left, yet she expected April to defend herself somehow?

Sporty: Has been relatively quiet, and I made note that her main contribution was to tell us to stop discussing mechanics today.

Stagg: largely absent, I think he's been flying under the radar

Z: several of his posts have been fluffy and I do not follow the logic in them. As others have said, he feels more like wolf Z and I have read a few things that set off my wolfdar. He is an easy misyeet though, so I'm keeping that in mind.

AM: Her tone seems village, but I think she is a top suspect for the sheriff.

Finn: has not contributed much to game solving or wolf hunting, and she has been pretty quiet for most of this cycle, except for the past few hours. She is also a suspect for the sheriff.

Cyndia: She appears to be contributing to the game at a bare minimum. I know she is busy, but I don't think I can move her to village yet.

Yes. I saw his post, but there’s more to it than that. I’d rather not say more in case there’s some importance with protecting royalty like LIS was proposing earlier. All I’ll say is I don’t think royalty are all one affiliation. I think there could be village-aligned royalty and wolf-aligned royalty, just like there were good rulers and bad rulers throughout England’s history.

Just so you know, Dubz had me pocketed HARDCORE during the emojis game. I am currently village reading her right now too, but she is incredibly good at pocketing. Just keep that in mind because I don’t think you played that game.

I just cannot shake the feeling that she is the sheriff. I feel like AM is playing more pro-village than her, and while I am not trying to get caught up in mechanics too much and go into tinfoil territory, I think Samac's theory has legitimate merit to it and it is the biggest clue we've gotten for wolf hunting.

So the only thing that pings me here is that shes only using the tinfoil as evidence. I'm fine with it being used suplementally but would prefer an in-thread main reason for a yeet.

I feel like she has talked about how to play WW more than she's wolfhunted or contributed to gamesolving. We discussed whether or not people should include village reads, and had differing opinions on it. Then, she explained why she was lurking when she got called out on it. I don't think that is AI, but a chunk of her posts mentioned that instead of focusing on playing the game. She also has spent the past two days tunneling on Alissa without any other people mentioned as suspicious to her.

TL;DR
I have officially un-mind-melded Alissa and Alley. Alley is definitely more of a low poster than Alissa, and seems to get called out for fluff posts at the start (by dina I believe) which actually makes me feel weirder about Dina than Alley. Great village talking points, a strong reads list, and overall I'm village leaning here right now. Things that pinged me were pretty much resolved by her next post.

The only possible explanation for why she thinks she deserves village points for wolf reading someone who hasn’t actually flipped is if she knows for a fact that MKG is a wolf.

She could know because she seered MKG, but given her reluctance to vote there or make a real push, the only real logical conclusion is that both MKG and Sunny are wolfing together.

I don’t see any other logical conclusion for why Sunny is trying to get village credit for “wolf reading” someone who hasn’t flipped and who she’s been reluctant to vote for.

Doesn't look anyone has and I'm back.

Villagers are capable of being wrong.

Villagers are also capable of taking something that is flimsy and then coming onto the thread and claiming the person is practically cleared when actually the information they were told should give a slight lean at best.

It would be foolish to run with whatever someone says without taking a beat to ask them about it just because you believe them to be a villager--or heck, even if you know for sure that they're a villager.

Eh, I agree with genny here. It's not a wolf slip imo - it's just pointing out the potential incongruity and reading her and someone she's wolf-reading as wolves together. Doesn't have to mean anything for your read since as you said, wolves can have each other on their wolf lists, but I think it's a stretch to say it makes her any more wolfy.

What’s changed? All we’ve gotten were a few extra posts and an appeal to emotion that too many people bought into imo.

I’ll update with more when I’ve got time after work. There’s a lot of things she did in her defense I intend to highlight.

I also think, assuming I’m right about MKG. There were multiply like rabbits wolves on Vis’s wagon, trying to save their little wolf pal.

I think sunshine for example is a good candidate for this. People have commented on how she’s off this game. She is. Where’s her flipping reads list? EVERY game I’ve played with her, she’s been village and has posted her spreadsheet for us to look at and updates it frequently. Instead this game she gives a suspicious excuse for not having it and another appeal to emotion to get people off her case.

Also just going to point out that Samac switched her vote from Cray to Finn.

Anyway, I am tempted to sheep Samac's vote today because I think the fact that she's silenced gives strong village points (with a heavy asterisk here that I don't really want to explain right now). I'm also thinking Zenge/Sunny is w/v but not sure who is who. And of course considering voting MKG, as stated above.
