Only 1000 African American males applied to medical school in 2011 out of over 35,000 applicants. I mean Lets be real Brah how many seats do you need.

every seats i can get, srly black are lazy. I can say so authoritatively because i have 2 black friends and I also had attempted to uplift blacks economy by buying Jordan clothings.

"What ever bro, you wont even make it to med school but I will undoubtedly get into every med school you apply to and then some even if I come out with .4 under your GPA. " Just facts whether I or You like it or Not

And to adress your ridiculous comment.

African American's not even 40 years ago where arrested, beatin, set on fire, shot, hung, and deprived of their freedoms. Not even 40 years ago this took place, I dont even need to elaborate on the other atrocities my grandmother and father went through. So how could 1000 AA male applicants THAT's Applicants get so many people stirred up we have around 489 acceptances lets be real here its not nearly as bad for you as you think.

And for the record anyone who justifies prejudice acts is someone who condones every facet of racism in America and all of its many horrifying results. I really hope that you, sir, are just joking but even then you may offend people.

Honestly I didnt want to put anymore input on this thread but. What do you justifiy yourself with .... Take your time and think on it. And its not what my ancestors went through its what the mother of my mother went through which equates to socioeconomiclly disadvantaged status for most AA's. There was a time maybe o like 15 years ago where AA's would get turned down for med school because they we AA alone, strong GPA or not.

I understand your trying to be cool but seriously man show some maturity, I know you have some good in that heart of yours. Maybe a class on AA history would open your eyes to the facts.

Now you guys can carry on with talking about how threads typically go😀.

I will graduate in fact im going to graduate med school early since I have already taken some of the med school classes last year at a community college.

Do I have to report my arsonrape charge on AMCAS? Arsonrape is a traffic violation in my state. I'll be able to get it expunged soon, but I'm not really trying to wait a cycle to apply cuz that's a year's surgical sub-specialty salary I'd be missing out on. 3.9/3.9 36S from a HYPSM btw.

hey guys i'm a recent high school graduate that just got accepted to college. i'm hoping for some advice on which of these upper level science courses i should take. i'm also going to work on research, shadow doctors, spend a lot of time in a soup kitchen, be the president of three clubs and volunteer at five different hospitals. i'm going to harvard med or maybe johns hopkins to be a dermatologist.

So I just got my mcat back and i did better than i thought. I think i'm ready to apply now. But there's one thing i'm still not so sure about (i asked my pre-med advisor and my friends, and i did a rudimentary sdn search but couldn't find anything):

HOW DO I SHOT WEB?

(I tried palpating for carpal glands, but i didn't find anything).

PLS HALP. PLS. OK?
