Considering purchasing this c arm. For those of you that have had experience with it, how do you think it compares with other machines?

Reliability?

Availability of parts?

Service after purchase from the company?

Value?

We have 4 of the Siemens, 64k is what we paid, they are fine I suppose. We’ve had to have a service guy come out 3-4 times over the past two years, at least one of those times was for a routine “software upgrade”. The other times were all for software issues, have not had any hardware problems. Our machines are used a lot, 30 inj per day, 4-5 days per week on avg.

We need to replace one of ours. We were looking at gently used OEC 9800s but I’m not familiar with other brands. Anyone who would strongly recommend other machines vs those? Seems like they are the standard workhorse.

Any issues with image quality? Especially in patient with high BMI?

No, I’ve never found it to be a problem. Can always see what we need to with the exception of shoulders getting in the way of lateral cervical images but that’s not a machine issue.
