For those who need to retake naplex, how are you getting by? Just curious. I asked my parents for help but they can only do so much. I would work but I can only work as a tech and part time tech pay isnt gonna cut it. Also, dont want to risk spending too much time working when i could be studying. Just need to get by for next two months or so. We shall see. Just curious how everyone else is doing.

Are there any grad intern positions available in your area?

Thats the thing. I could still work as a grad inter at my store but it wouldnt make that much of a difference since i cant spend too much time working. Maybe a couple days a week but that would only be a fraction of what i would need. Ill probably ask my friends if they could help here and there eventually...

Hey! I'm in a similar situation. I'm only getting paid 6th year intern pay now since I've used up all my grad intern hours. I'm basically working 3-4 days a week and trying to save enough money to pay my rent, buy food, and gas. I'm hoping that would be enough to get my by for the next 2 months. I'm planning on studying on my days off and in the mornings before work because I don't think I can study after work.... I will be too exhausted.

Well one option is to get a personal loan if you have a decent credit. Thats what my parents did for me. And i was able to borrow some money from a friend so i think i should be good to go until i can work in december.

I would work more but im just scared that i wont be prepapred for the exam... =(

I'm currently working about 27 hours a week but I'm bummed I'm getting just regular intern pay too. How many grad intern hours were you given? I'm studying to retake the CPJE but like you I can't study after work either. Work is just draining..

I live at home with my parents though so I'm lucky I can mooch off of them for living costs. I also mooch off my significant other for food. Haha. I'm thinking of cutting back my work hours though so I can just focus more on studying.

Haha you are lucky. I would definitely cut back on work hours if possible. I should not have worked while I studied now that I look back... sigh

Do you have to take the new 250 question NAPLEX or do you get to keep taking the old one?
