So I finished all four examkrackers 1001 books. At first I found them frustrating and painfully tedious. But then they started to grow on me. I completely understand why and how people hate these books because some of the questions seem tricky but I've really grown to appreciate them because if you really stop to understand and review the questions you get wrong you realize most of the time it really changes your understanding of the material--usually for the better.

Anyway, I scored between a 77-80 for physics, chem, and bio and around an 88 for organic (I think organic was transparently less thorough then the others but still worthwhile). How does this rank in terms of most peoples' experience; what has been you experience in terms of scoring with these books?

I made pretty thorough notes on every single question I got wrong and plan on reviewing them. I also plan on finishing up my TBR material (I'm about 40% finished) and taking plenty of practice tests. My test is in a month so any suggestions/feedblack would be much appreciated.

Thanks!

I only used EK 1001 for the stuff I was having trouble with in the first place, so my scores weren't great. The questions are pretty simple if you understand the topic and I think TBR is a much better indicator simply because it is much more difficult.

Thanks for your thoughts on the 1001. I am going to go ahead and do the, I was on the fence, but they seem like a good idea.

I thought the biology and chemistry 1001 books were great. I too made notes on all the questions I got wrong and made sure to study those until I got them right.
When I took my MCAT, I definitely recalled some details I wouldn't have otherwise remembered.

I hated the EK 1001 physics workbook though. skipped it and used Kaplan instead.
