FOR RETAKERS: Was April 2005 really harder than Previous Tests

I took in in April of 2004 and I though the PS was MUCH harder in 2005 and I was exponentially more prepared. I thought the VR was about the same as well as the BS, BS may have been a little easier, but again, I was much more prepared. BTW, I had CH i believe. My $.02.

I'm not sure how much the level of diffuclty matters. The exam is score differently depending on the level of difficulty.

What do you mean? I thought it was scaled accordingly.

Well I never took it before, but based on the AAMC-released practice tests the PS and VR in my form were comparable in difficulty and the BS was more difficult. Actually in some ways I think the VR was a bit easier.
