For anyone going to Memphis (flying..) alone for an interview, I thought I would share some things with you as to how you can go around the city by yourself.

there is a hostel named "pilgrim's house" which costs about $25.00 a night for a private room. ($15.00 for a room shared with others). Then there is a bus that goes from/to the international airport and from/to UT-Memphis campus.
Google "MATA" and bus times and routes can be found. It costs only $1.50 (bus takes both dollar bill and coins) for one trip. Pilgrim's house is only 15 minutes a way from UT-Memphis and Airport.

For the interview, I visited the school's website and found all the great things about the school. All the questions were more like a personal question that you didn't really have to study/prepare for. But visiting the website helped me to tell the admissions committee exactly why I had chosen UT-Memphis amongst many other pharmacy schools. The interview was not intimidating at all!!!

Lastly, don't wear high heels because walking around for an hour and half for the tour will kill your feet unless you are very used to walking around so much with high heels..also, it's a lot easier to catch the bus if you are late being at the bus stop.
