Forgot to drop course...!

So in the summer I signed up with a university extension for two online undergraduate courses. Subsequently I was accepted to a graduate program. I emailed the university extension that I would like to drop one of the two courses. They emailed me back that I need to fill out a drop form. I forgot to.

I got straight A's in my graduate coursework and in the course I did not drop, but I see the. University is going to have an F for the course for which I did not complete the drop paperwork.

Is this going to rescind my acceptance?

I used to have nightmares about this all the time in undergrad.
Email the school that accepted you ASAP about it.

Your school might be able to offer a late drop since it is obvious that you intended to drop it and didn't actually do the work for the course.

Email the school that accepted you and explain the situation. I would hope they understand and don't rescind your acceptance over this. Also look at the conditions of your acceptance and see what it says because this may not be an issue (some schools don't say anything about minimum grade requirements post acceptance, while others do)
