What is the appropriate/default Frames Per second to have on a C-Arm for Pain procedures?

30 fps or 15 fps?

I realize that the ability to drop down to 8 fps when driving SCS leads is key in reducing radiation exposure, but I can't figure out what the default FPS is on typical C-Arm

thanks

I have a button: auto.

Manual anything ruins the picture and pulsed makes it impossible to see anything at all.

This question has not been studied nor answered (for pain procedures), to my knowledge.

You should use the ALARA principles when finding your target.

When injecting contrast, I prefer 30 fps DSA, although even 8 fps DSA may be sufficient. We simply do not know.

You should realize that only the more expensive, more heavily optioned c-arms are even capable of 15 or much less 30 fps DSA. These are usually very expensive option packages that can cost over $30,000. If you have a 30fps machine, consider yourself luckly.
