Hi Freinds,
I am retaking my part 1 , but have come to know that reexamination scores will be less than the original, and this fact has been posted in ada website itself. So I am really scared now.
So if somebody or thier freinds have retaken the exam and got better scores please help me out .I even cant study ahead thinking abt it, so please help.

hi siddhi,

I guess you have not interpreted what Ada website says, correctly. What it means is that,if you retake an exam with an intention of improving your scores, and God forbid, you don't do well in th exam and your scores are lower than those you obtained in your first attempt, only your latest set of scores i.e the second set will be reported as you official score. They do not give you a choice of reporting your first or second set..

Accordingly,if your second attempt goes well and you get a high score, only that will be reported.......so it all depends on your confidence level and how well you do in the second attempt.

If you go thru SDN,you will find a few people who have taken the test a second time to end up with really good scores.....so good luck and conc on your studies.

Hey Siddhi
Dont loose hope ...study hard & do ur best. Iam sure u'll do better than ur previous score. 👍 I agree with what Tweety has written. Its the most recent score which is reported. 🙂

Hey Tweety Bird and Vashishta,
Thanks a lot for boosting my confidence, yeah probably I was wrong in understanding wht it said.Any how thanks for stopping by and helping me ,real kind of you .

hi, its better if you give all the 4 subjects again.people who got even 85 had retaken their part-1 to improve their scores, better chances if you retake it.

if you have a partial failure - you only have to take that section again and the new passing score will be average with your other scores for a new average. If you did well on the other 3 sections I wouldn't re-take the other sections only the failed section.
