What do you guys think of this schedule for Freshman year? Too heavy, too light in term of science classes or just right?

I understand that taking 6 classes as a freshman is discourage. especially i will attend a 4 year college and a two year college at the same time.

Fall
i will take those classes at a four year university quarter system
Chem
pre-calculus
English remedial (not a level English college class)
intro to college life (obligate to the new freshman to take}

And i will take these two classes at a community college a semester system
ESL writing
ESL speech and listening

please share your opinions !

Can you get into Chemistry your freshmen year? The freshmen at my school have difficulty getting a spot because of their enrollment dates.

the one i will take into the fall is prep for college chem

next quarter for winter
i will take organic chem 1
calculus 1
English college
biology

and for winter organic chem 2
calculus 2
English or physics
biology

i'm talking do i will be able to hold 6 classes and work at the same time!
especially i'm and ESL student

Wait... This is not adding up. The Chem prep course is not the same as Chem, and Chem is a two class course plus a pre-req for OChem. How are you taking OChem in the Winter?

Okay, this is making much more sense. I think that your first quarter is definitely doable. If anything, it is light, but it's your first quarter in college, so you should just take your time and get used to things. The next quarters are also doable. I've had similar schedules and got all A's, but that is dependent on how you study.

i will take 16 units at my four year college and other 7 units at community college at the same time
is that a lot for a new freshman

Yes and no, if you're already an excellent student with a superb study schedule proven to work and you plan to continue using it then you can do it. Otherwise if you're in the process of becoming a great student or you want to start your first year partying and knowing everyone then it's very recommendable not to do it.
