It's generally a pretty good day when you can save a cop. There was what seemed like a whole division of sheriff's deputies and pd officers hanging around the hallway. I know some people get annoyed at it, but they're like one large family. When his real family showed up though, they got shooed away.

After having know a good handful in NYC, I gotta say - they're the best and hardest working people I have met in a long time. All that insane work they do and the crazies they have to brave their lives against, and all for about $36,500 a year ... gotta love 'em.

Many of my family members are either cops or firefighters, so yea, I'd have to say it's a good day when you save one, although any day when you save somebody's life is a good one...
