Hey guys,
I just took the GRE's. I am looking to appy for a Masters in General Psychology and possibly one forensic psychology MA even.
I totally had a major brain freeze on the Quantitative because thats what I was most worried about.
My scores 570 Quant and 620 Verbal.
I know these aren't that great if applying to a doctoral program, but how are they for masters?
Thanks.

I'm in a good general master's program right now, and most of my peers' scores I've heard about were in the 1200-1300 range. So I think you're probably close enough, though on the low end for a competitive program. With your scores, you will probably need to have decent grades and research experience and a couple of good letters.

There are a wide range of MA programs, however, and many of them should be less competitive than the one that is my frame of reference.

Good luck!

I heard 1000+ is good for MS and 1200-1300+ is good for PhD
