Good Volunteering Programs

I am looking for a volunteering program, or more like a workcamp, that would last 2-3 weeks. Any recommendations? 😀

See, that's what got me too. Most of those programs are so darn expensive, and it really hurts the ole' check book when you are trying to save up for application costs.

I wanted to do a pretty intense volunteer experiene too, so, what I've decided to do instead is simply take a vacation this summer and volunteer/shadow all day, everyday for my two weeks. Maybe you could do something similar.

You could also get licensed as a CNA or EMT and then get paid to work in a hospital this summer. Of course, you can't call the experience volunteering and you're looking at committing your entire summer to working in a hospital.
