with green card and 2.95 GPA it should not be a bad score .
make sure you score well in TOEFL.
can you tell us about your experience of the exam.
i have heard that it is different fronm the one it used to be and the old question papers are of little help

i just received my part 1 scores..got 86..my gpa is 3.83..i have to take toefl yet..i m confused if i have to retake part 1 or proceed with part 2...not sure which way to go..kindly help

hi..do not retake...just my opinion..apply with these scores to colleges...and wait n watch..there r chances that wen u repeat the exam..u may get a lower score.
and 86 is decent in the new format..what is ur gpa and visa status?

this is my first post on here. I was hoping i could get some info from you guys! 🙂

I took the Part 1 exam a couple weeks ago and i ran into a problem. When i got to the clinical part, i wasn't able to see the patients' clinical history. For example, I was told that questions 158 to 164 were Section A, but as soon as I got to question 158, i was just given a the question but didn't see the patient history. I tried to hit next and forward but I couldn't see it. I tried to get the Prometric Administrators to help me but they weren't able to assist.

Could this have been a server error on the part of Prometric or was it a User error on my part? Was there somewhere else I was supposed to click to see the patient history? I totally got screwed as I wasn't able to answer any of the Clinical questions! I am not looking forward to getting my score back!

If anyone has any info that could help me, i'd really appreciate it! Thanks!!

when i wrote the exam for clinical questions i had a small tab " EXHIBIT" on the right hand side of the question..when i clicked it i got to see the entire case history..didnt you have a EXHIBIT tab beside the question...

a friend of mine too faced the same problem..but she called ADA after sometime so they cudnt do anythng..if you have the same problem just call ADA immediately and explain them..

Thats TOO SAd. I think you shd try talking to both the prometric centre & ADA.

File a written complaint with signatures from the person who was there when you had the problem. I would say do this before your result comes out. Hope for the best!!

Thanks for the info AIM HIGH and FD. I didn't see the "EXHIBIT" button on the right hand side next to the question itself either.

AIM HIGH, how long ago did you write the exam and when did your friend write it? I just want to make sure the "EXHIBIT" button is still being shown on the new exams and they don't have the clinical history in a different format since you guys wrote it.

Once I can confirm the "EXHIBIT" button should have been there on the new exam, I will definitely call ADA and see if they can do something for me. If anyone else has taken the exam recently and can confirm the EXHIBIT button WAS visible to them, it would be great! Please let me know when you took the exam as well.

I was able to answer the rest of the questions as they are very direct. It is only the clinical questions that require the patient history. Hope that helps 🙂

hi!!! i wrote the exam in dec 2007 ..new format only..even my friend she wrote in aug 2007 new format...anyways if there is any change after feb 2008 then iam not sure..but in dec 2007 when i wrote exam in new format..i had a 'exhibit" tab on rt side of the question by clicking which i cud see the case history related to the question..

Thanks AIM! I appreciate the info! I am going to follow up with ADA and see what they can do. The least they should do is let me re-take it so I can have an exam that has the exhibit button. Wish me luck 🙂
